Hyatt Gets Two Outered

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

A massive pot was brewing in the main tournament room and a player in the hijack had squeezed to 11,100 already. Mason Hyatt then shoved from the cutoff and Honglin Jiang in the big blind called all in for 31,650. The hijack managed to find a fold and said in table chat he had pocket queens.

Honglin Jiang: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Mason Hyatt: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

"Oh my god," Jiang said when he spotted the flop of {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}, improving him to a full house. Both the {4-Diamonds} turn and {10-Clubs} river were blanks and Jiang scored a big double while Hyatt remains well over starting stack.

Boyko and Shchepkin Win Pots

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Dmitrii Shchepkin, who just missed out on the money in the High Roller, was just involved in a raising war against Christopher Yong. The latter had squeezed to 7,500 in the big blind and Shchepkin then moved all in for 27,225. Yong folded and the pot was awarded to Shchepkin.

Over in the Lounge, the always-aggressive Yuriy Boyko got into a small raising war with a player from Portugal in the big blind. Boyko made it 1,000 to go from the hijack and his opponent reraised to 3,100. Boyko clicked it up to 6,700 and that did the trick to force a fold.

Hendry Stabs the Turn

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

There was a limp for 500 and a call, the small blind completed and Stephen Hendry in the big blind checked his option.

Four ways to a flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and everybody checked. The turn card was the {j-Spades} and a check from the small blind prompted a bet of 2,100 from the snooker legend. Everyone else let it go and Hendry picked up the pot.

Another Vacant Seat As Guilbert Gets There

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Matthew Guilbert bet big on a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Nicholas J A Galt moved all in for not much more. Guilbert didn’t look delighted with himself but didn’t compound the error by folding so Galt was the player at risk.

Galt had hit with {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Guilbert had overs {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and the river the {k-Diamonds} to send Galt to the rail.

Bach Among the Big Stacks

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

On the heads-up turn of {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, Karim Souaid led for 2,500 out of the big blind and Guillem Cusco Bach raised to 8,000. Souaid quickly called and checked again the {5-Diamonds} river. Both players were the far biggest stacks at the table and Bach then bet 18,500 from the hijack. Souaid gave it some thought and checked the stack, but elected to fold with around 57,000 behind.
