Rhee's Kicker Plays To Secure Double

Hermann Lee raised the button to 25,000 and called a three-bet by Yo Seb Rhee in the big blind. Rhee got his last 209,000 in the middle of the table after a flop of and Lee looked him up with the superior stack, but also inferior hand.

Yo Seb Rhee raised to 25,000 from the small blind and Peter Plater called in the big blind. As soon as Rhee motioned to grab into his stack for a bet on the flop, Plater had already released his cards into the muck.

A few hands later, Rhee's raise to 25,000 from the cutoff was called by Plater on the button. The flop fell and Rhee's continuation bet of 30,000 did the trick to win yet another pot without showdown.

Plater Finds a Double; Obara Short

Yo Seb Rhee limped from the small blind and shoved into the raise of Peter Plater, who called all in for his last 129,000 out of the big blind.

Plater tabled and Rhee had two live cards with . Both players hit the flop and Hermann Lee jokingly asked for a jack to give split pot outs. The fell on the turn and Plater said "why would you say that, you are a cruel man," still almost smiling. Lee definitely cracked a smile, and the river was a blank to let Plater double.

Soon after, Jun Obara and Lee clashed in a pot. Obara's pot-sized bet on the river for 110,000 from the big blind triggered a raise to 255,000 by Lee and Obara used all his remaining three time-bank chips before folding. Lee showed him for a busted flush draw to claim the pot.

In a battle of the blinds, Jun Obara checked a flop of and Sathesh Muthu in the big blind made it 45,000 to go, which Obara called. The same action repeated on the turn for 55,000 and Obara also checked the on the river.

Muthu bet 105,000 and Obara check-raised all in for around double of that, picking up a call by Muthu.

Muthu Takes Commanding Lead

While Peter Plater and Yo Seb Rhee sat back, it was once again up to Sathesh Muthu and Hermann Lee to provide the action at the table with four players remaining. In a battle of the blinds, Muthu check-raised the flop from 28,000 to 80,000 and Lee called.

The fell on the turn and Muthu bet 150,000, which Lee called before the river completed the board. Muthu made it 275,000 to go and then leaned down to hide his face behind the arms. Lee needed both his remaining two time-bank chips to make up his mind. The clock ticked down and Lee let go.

Hermann Lee raised from the button and Yo Seb Rhee just called from the small blind before cherck-calling a continuation bet on the flop. The fireworks started on the turn when Rhee check-raised all in and Lee snao-called with the inferior stack.

The river was a blank and was about to leave, but Lee insisted "you cover me." Lee doubled for 297,000 and that left Rhee with less than one starting stack.
