Josef Snejberg was all in preflop with three callers with a 17,000 main pot and another 1,500 in the side pot. The flop came and Valeriy Itsenko moved all in for 30,000 to push Sadri Mokni and Fahredin Mustafov out of the pot.
Snejberg:
Itsenko:
The turn and river were both blanks and Snejberg quadrupled up. Mokni and Mustafov weren't too pleased, allegedly they'd both had ace-king.

A healthy triple-up for Rene Kodlin. He was all-in in a three-way pot against Marc Palatzky and Tadas Gromas.

Gromas:
The board managed to completely brick out with no ace to help either of the two bigger stacks when it came . Palazky took a hit and Gromas was crippled.

Poker is very ridiculous sometimes. Petr Blaha had opened from the cutoff to 2,200 and then called the big blind's shove. The latter (who didn't have an ID Card and now misses out on his post of fame!) flipped over and Blaha showed a dominated .
The fop was and Blaha flopped a gutshot Royal Flush draw, the short-stack made two pair and then improved on the turn to a full house. The only card in the deck that Blaha could hit was the and that's exactly the card that came on the river to the astonishment of almost all.

With just under an hour left to play, there are just 49 players remaining out of the initial 117. The average stack is 47,755. After that we'll be bagging up the chips and Day 1b will be starting at 4pm CET on Friday.
Martin Fric moved all in for his last 12,000 or so preflop and Robert Wirth moved all in behind him to cover.
Fric:
Wirth:
The flop came and Fric jumped into the lead but the on the turn gave Wirth a set. Fric needed an eight for a straight to survive but the on the river made Wirth quads instead.
"Jackpot," sighed Fric as he left the table.
