Day 2 Schedule

Play will resume at 7 p.m. ET at the beginning of Level 21 with blinds of 2,000/4,000 and an ante of 500. Levels will last 20 minutes in length and play will continue until a winner has been declared.

"ISlowRollYou" (505,174), enters the day atop the chip counts with the only stack above half a million. "MisAnnthr0pe" (341,753) "coco91721" (337,959) are next on the leader board, with both players having spent much of Day 1 among the largest stacks in the tournament.

Plenty more are still in contention, as 23 players enter the day with above-average stacks. Action is sure to be aplenty, though the tournament's slow structure will ensure plenty of room for play as the tournament progresses.

"SmokenSubaru" Survives a Coin Flip for Early Double

Level 21 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

"SmokenSubaru" opened to 10,000 in early position and "Pokeher299" three-bet jammed for 108,139 from the small blind. "SmokenSubaru" made the call for barely less.

"SmokenSubaru": {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
"Pokeher299": {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The two were in a coin flip situation for tournament lives and "SmokenSubaru" stayed on the right side of the coin as the board ran out {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} to score the double with a full house, jacks full of queens.

Meanwhile, "Pokeher299" was left with under one big blind. They chopped another pot and now sit with 6,000.

"BokenTerp" Busts

Level 21 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
"BokenTerp" Eliminated by "moledaddy"
"BokenTerp" Eliminated by "moledaddy"

After starting the day with 10,000, "BokenTerp" survived more than an orbit before going all in for 16,302 on the button. "moledaddy" called in the big blind.

"BokenTerp": {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}
"moledaddy": {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

"BokenTerp" was behind and stayed there as the flop came {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}. The turn {k-Spades} gave "moledaddy" a pair of kings but gave "BokenTerp" a flush draw and nine newly-found outs to go along with it. Unfortunately for them, that was the closest they would get to the double as the river {j-Diamonds} left them dry to result in their elimination from the tournament.

Mike "mikeyeager" Yeager opened under the gun to 8,000 and was three-bet to 16,000 by "BarB3r03," who was on the button. Yeager four-bet to 48,000 and "BarB3r03" five-bet jammed for 100,794. Yeager called.

"BarB3r03": {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Mike Yeager: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Yeager was in trouble before the flop but fortunes changed as it came {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. He faded the two outer on both the turn {3-Diamonds} and river {10-Clubs} and scored the knockout, bringing him to just shy of 350,000 after the pot was shipped his way.
