Welcome to NJCOOP Event #44: $250 NLHE Thursday Thrill PKO SE Championship Trophy Edition

New Jersey Championship of Online Poker
New Jersey Championship of Online Poker

The final days of the New Jersey Championship of Online Poker are here, and one of the most exciting formats of poker awaits New Jersey players tonight, as NJCOOP Event #44: $250 NLHE Thursday Thrill PLO SE Championship Trophy Edition, $30k Gtd is set to get underway at 7 p.m. EST.

In a PKO (Progressive Knockout) tourney, half of the buy-in goes into the regular prize pool, while the other half becomes part of the bounty prize pool. Every player begins tonight's tournament with a bounty of $116.50 on their heads. If you knock a player out of the tournament, half of their accumulated bounty goes directly into your PokerStars account, while the other half is added to your existing bounty, giving your opponents even more incentive to try and eliminate you. The final two players in the tournament receive the same payout from the regular prize pool, but the winner will not only earn their opponent's bounty, but will keep their own bounty as well, which by the end of the tournament should be a pair of eye-popping amounts to aim for.

Players will begin with 25,000 in chips, and blinds will kick off at 80/160 with a 20 ante. Late registration and up to five re-entries are available to players up until 10:15 p.m. EST. This is a one-day tournament, meaning action will play down to a winner, who will earn a coveted NJCOOP Championship Trophy.

PokerNews will be on hand to catch all the exciting PKO action from start to finish, so stay tuned as one of the last NJCOOP Championship Trophy events of the 2021 NJCOOP gets underway!
