Atmani Spikes River to Double

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Sabare Atmani
Sabare Atmani

Hassan Sey opened to 6,500 from the cutoff, and was met with a three-bet jam to 91,500 from Sabare Atmani in the small blind.

Matteo Condemi was in the big blind, and after asking for a count and some further thought, he cold-called, forcing Sey to get out of the way.

Atmani looked in trouble with a single overcard, but the K104 flop brought hope, giving him an up and down straight draw.

The 2 turn was a brick, but the Q hit on the river to send Atmani the double-up with a pair of queens.

Breuil Good at Showdown

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Around 50,000 was in the middle already on a flop of Q82, in a hand between Francesco Pillitteri in early position and Julien Breuil in middle position.

Pillitteri check-called versus a bet of 15,000, to bring about the 5 turn. That street was checked through to the K river, where both players were content to go to showdown.

Pillitteri tabled 33 for a pair of threes, but Breuil had the best of it with JJ.

Verstegen Jams River

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A pot of around 80,000 had brewed on a completed board of 9645J, in a hand between Noortje Verstegen and Benjamin Hammann.

Verstegen jammed the river for around 95,000, and Hamman went deep into the tank.

After at least two minutes of thought, Hamman sighed and sent his cards to the dealer, with Verstegen letting out a deep exhale of breath in relief after his cards hit the muck.
