De Meulder check-called a bet of 10,000 from Gyundzhiev on the A♥9♠5♦ flop, which led to the A♦ turn and 3♣ river being checked through.

De Meulder tabled K♥Q♥ for king-queen high, and Gyundzhiev smiled wryly as he tabled K♠J♠ for king-jack high, sending the pot to De Meulder.
