Limit Hold'em Limits 1,750-3,500

Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser limped the cutoff and called a raise by Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi on the button. On a {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, the short stack of Shakerchi went into the middle.

Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi: {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser: {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Shakerchi found no miracle escape on the {a-Hearts} turn and {q-Hearts} river, which only improved Glaser to trips.

WCOOP 2021

Mixed game specialists will enter the fray in the latest high-stakes competition of the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). They will determine the best among their peers in eight different variants in the WCOOP-52-H: $10,300 8-Game High Roller, which is set to get underway on September 2 at 2.15 pm EST.

All players start with 100,000 in chips and the levels have a duration of 10 minutes each. The late registration will be open for four hours and 20 minutes and during that period, a maximum of two re-entries can be purchased. Each table has a maximum of six players and the final table begins when seven contenders remain.

The following poker games are part of the rotation:

2-7 Triple Draw
Limit Hold'em
Omaha Hi-Lo
Razz
Seven Card Stud
Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo
NL Hold'em
Pot-Limit Omaha

Defending champion of this very event is German player "RaúlGonzalez", who topped a field of 67 entries in WCOOP 69-H: $10,300 8-Game [High Roller] one year ago. Only the top seven spots were paid a portion of the $670,000 prize pool and more than one third was reserved for the champion ($235,531).

Jussi "calvin7v" Nevanlinna emerged as the winner in a field of 135 entries in the WCOOP 69-M: $1,050 8-Game back then and has since won his sixth WCOOP title during the ongoing festival. Another well-known pro of the live and online circuit took down the WCOOP 34-H: $2,100 8-Game in 2020 as Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich scored his fifth WCOOP title.

All three are expected to join the fray as the mixed game specialists will aim to add a WCOOP title to their resume. This tournament will play down to the money on Day 1 and then resume the following Saturday, September 4.
