Aku "Aku1206" Joentausta three-bet in the big blind after "KisuKe_7" raised preflop and had a caller in "ferrostyle" in the small blind. "KisuKe_7" folded but the small blind called. The biggest pot of the tournament took place on the flop where there was a bet from Joentausta and then an all-in from "ferrostyle"
Aku "Aku1206" Joentausta:
"ferrostyle":
Both players flopped a set, but not all hope was lost for "ferrostyle" who had a flush draw as well as one out to make quads. The turn reduced his chances of survival and the final nail in the coffin was the river.
Aku "Aku1206" Joentausta ended Day 2 as chip leader after scooping a 8.7 million chip pot, the biggest hand of the tournament so far, in an epic cooler against "ferrostyle". The Finnish poker player is on course for his second WCOOP title after winning his first in 2018's WCOOP Event #52H: $530+R PLO [6-Max], $300K Gtd for $83,529.
Day 1 chip leader "#Naktro91 made also made it through to the final day despite flirting with elimination following a hand with Andriy "Andre_Hansen" Lyubovetskiy who failed to make the final day busting in 25th place. Some players joining the likes of Joentausta "Naktro91" in Day 3 include Max "goodeh99" Silver, Rob "robc1978" Cowen and Anton "Bomber&Granater" Wigg.
Those that have survived two days of Pot Limit Omaha mayhem, have been rewarded with a guaranteed score of $7,129.
Level 30 Sees Bust Out Bonaza
Just after "ferrostyle" busted in 23nd place, there were five quick fire eliminations which brought Day 2 to a close. Even though the tournament was due to play down to the final 18 players just 17 players remain as "fNx_R" felted "krendipoint" in 18th as they were still in a hand when Joao "Naza114" Vieira exited in 19th place.
After the exit of "ferrostyle", "huevo2000" was the next player to go and then Bjorn "bokkie87" Verbakel finished in 21st place after running their kings into the aces of "wnbgambler". Wigg then ousted "vic_xcite" next with his turned straight thwarting the Swedish player's over pair.
