Day 1bc Set to Commence in the $370 Opening Event
Day 1bc of the $370 Opening Event is set to begin. Two flights will play today with 1b beginning at 11 a.m. and 1c beginning at 5 p.m.
Just like with Day 1a, the plan is to play down until 8% of the starting field remains in each flight. Yesterday that took approximately 12 hours to happen. 12% of the field will be paid.
Levels will be 30 minutes in length. Breaks are every 4 levels and there is no dinner break. Registration will be open until the completion of level 11 in each flight. The surviving players will return for Day 2 on Sunday July 28 with the remaining players from all five starting flights.
Players competing today will be aiming to catch the mark set by Alex Brink who bagged 658,000 chips at the end of Day 1a.
