Cooler for Dhallan to Bust to Yoon

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
David Yoon
David Yoon

David Yoon raised to 3,500 from the middle position and Narender Dhallan three-bet to 11,000 from the hijack for the rest of the table to fold. Yoon responded with a shove which Dallan snap-called for the 50,000 or so he had behind.

Narender Dhallan: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
David Yoon: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} with the king in the window to Dhallan to sigh.

The rest of the board was completed with the {9-Clubs} on the turn and the {5-Spades} on the river to not help Dhallan as he was eliminated just before the dinner break.

Verderamo Knows What Stokes Has

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nicholas Verderamo raised to 5,000 from the hijack and by Steve Stokes three-bet to 11,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Verderamo called.

They both checked through the {3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop to the {7-Clubs} on the turn. Verderamo check-called the 5,000 bet of Stokes.

The river completed the board with the {j-Clubs}, Verderamo checked for the last time. Stokes continued with a bet of 10,000 and that was enough to get Verderamo to fold.

"You know what I have..." Stokes commented.

"Ace-king," Verderamo replied.

Stoked nodded and tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} indeed.
