Fein Busts Barrett

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

From early position, Kevin Barrett raised before action folded to Robert Fein in the big blind. Fein moved all in for a little over 70,000, and Barrett made the call to put himself at risk for 46,500.

Fein had the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, and Barrett had the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, and Barrett was eliminated.

MacGuire Unlucky

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

We just ran into Kody MacGuire and he told us the unfortunate story of his elimination hand. On his last hand MacGuire saw a flop that showed {9-}{3-}{2-}, and when all the money went in he was well ahead with {10-}{10-} versus {A-}{4-}

Sadly enough for MacGuire, his opponent hit a five for a wheel to the young man from St John's in Canada got knocked out.

O'Brien's Running it Back Up

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Dan O'Brien is still down quite a bit from the start of his day, but he's way up from where he was at just a while ago. O'Brien got knocked down to just 2,800 chips and has mounted an impressive comeback since then.

Just now O'Brien limped after which Eric Ethans raised to 12,500 before O'Brien shoved for 42,300. Ethans went into the tank for quite some time, but eventually he folded his cards. O'Brien now sits on 58,000 chips and he's a lot more comfortable as we're getting closer and closer to the money.
