Saenz Gets Back-To-Back Jacks, Doubles

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Anthony Lombard raised to 25,000 from the cutoff, and Michael Saenz, who showed pocket jacks in the previous hand, jammed for 158,000 in the small blind. Lombard snapped him off.

Lombard: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Saenz: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Saenz held jacks for the second consecutive hand, and the earned him a double after the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} board failed to bring Lombard an ace or king.

Lombard Survives On The River

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alex Epstein raised to 60,000 on the button, and Anthony Lombard jammed for 122,000 in the small blind. Steve Roselius, who had a similar stack, folded in the big blind, and Epstein grimaced, then put in a call.

Epstein: {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Lombard: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Epstein pulled in front on the {9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, and just needed to fade a king or queen after the {8-Hearts} fell on the turn. No such luck, though, as the {k-Clubs} river gave Lombard a pair of kings and the double.
