In the 909th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Kyna England, and Mike Holtz wrap up coverage of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) by highlighting Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, who not only won the 2025 WSOP Main Event for $10 million but was also snap-inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. It was a historic summer for The Grinder, and the crew gave him his just deserts.

They then talk about Shaun Deeb winning the WSOP Player of the Year for a second time, numbers from the summer, and late bracelet winners, including Andrew Ostapchenko, Daniel Zack, and Chad Eveslage. Chandra Kontham raised to 1,600,000 on the button and Joseph Osterbauer defended in the big blind.

The flop came 3♣A♦5♣ and both players checked to the 7♥ turn.

Osterbauer check-called a bet of 1,600,000, bringing the 9♦ river.

Osterbauer checked again and Kontham moved all in to put Osterbauer at risk who had 9,900,000 behind.

Osterbauer snap called and turned over 8♦6♦ for the nut straight, besting the A♠J♣ of Kontham who was left with just 2,000,000.
