In a battle of the blinds, Arlie Brandvold got it all in preflop in the small blind for 367,000 against Richard Gamez in the big blind who had slightly less.
Arlie Brandvold: A♥A♣

The flop came Q♦6♠Q♠ with Brandvold's aces still out in the lead. The turn landed the Q♣, locking up the win for him and the meaningless 10♣ rolled off on the river.

Action picked up on the river with a sizable pot brewing in a hand between Michael Confer in middle position and Nancy Beasley in the big blind.
With over 400,000 in the middle and the board reading 7♥8♦2♠J♦Q♥, Beasley moved all in for 135,000 to put herself at risk. Confer took some time to think through his decision before eventually making the call.
Beasley turned over Q♠J♥ for two pair, queens and jacks to scoop the pot and leave Confer with just 4,000.
Daniel Kennedy raised to 33,000 in early position and Zachary Schlueter three-bet jammed for 174,000 in mid position to put himself at risk. Action folded back around to Kennedy who took some time to think through his decsion before making the call.
Zachary Schlueter: A♥10♠
Daniel Kennedy: 6♥6♦
The board ran out 4♥5♦2♣Q♦10♣, with Schlueter pairing his ten on the river to stay alive.
The remaining 43 players have been sent on the first 15-minute break of the day and will return to blinds at 10,000/20,000 with a 20,000 big blind ante.
