Yesterday, Day 1a drew a total of 94 runners for $675 apiece, and RunGood Pro Jonathan Gaviao stood above the rest when the dust settled as he bagged 192,500. He'll be joined by two fellow RunGood Pros: Colossus final table participant Ray Henson, who bagged 107,000 and Clint Tolbert, who finished with 48,500. A total of 21 survived the day.
For each Day 1 flight scheduled today, another 12 levels will be played, starting with blinds of 25/50 and progressing through 1,200/2,400/400. We found Ross Bybee with a T5,000 chip in front of him on the button, representing an unknown bet amount on a board. Greg Jennings check-raised to 5,600 from middle position, and Bybee called. On the river, Jennings flicked his last T100 chip in the pot, thinking he was moving all in. But, the dealer hadn't given him change from the two T5,000 chips he put in when he announced his raise. The bet was ruled to be 100, and Bybee called.
Jennings showed for a flopped straight.
"I cost myself 4,000," he said.
