JJ Kuchenmeister is the overall chip leader heading into Day 2 of the RunGood Poker Series $575 Main Event at Horseshoe Tunica.

Kuchenmeister bagged 655,000 after a slew of knockouts late in Day 1c that included World Series of Poker Main Event champion Chris Moneymaker.

Kuchenmeister has $13,590 in career tournament winnings on six results. His previous best finish in an RGPS Main Event is 54th in August 2019 for $1,011.

Kuchenmeister leads the last 114 players into Day 2 which will resume at noon Sunday.

The top 54 players will make the money and the min-cash is worth $968.
