"Are We All Gonna Chop It?"

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Five players went to a flop of {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} in a single-raised pot preflop, and five checks ensued.

The turn came {a-Diamonds} and the big blind checked to Ashley Peck, who bet 1,400 in early position. Kyle Cartwright called in the hijack, the cutoff folded, and the player on the button called. The big blind then folded.

"Three players," said the dealer, bringing the river {2-Clubs}., and Peck bet 1,500 more. Cartwright thought for a handful of seconds and tossed in chips to call, as did the player on the button.

"I have an ace," said Peck, tabling {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Cartwright turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

"Are we all gonna chop it?" asked Peck. Her question was confirmed as the player on the button showed {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, with all three players' aces up chopping the pot due to the king kicker on board.

New Arrivals; ClubGG Qualifier Beireis Spotted

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Virginia Beireis
Virginia Beireis

The tournament field has grown to 126 as play now moves into Level 3. A couple of known faces have been seen making their ways to their newly-assigned seats after being late registrants to the tournament: RunGood Ambassador "Boston Rob" Mariano and Ryan Phan are two players to pay attention to through the remainder of the evening, as both are sure to be engaging with their tablemates while in play.

Also spotted in the field is ClubGG qualifier Virginia "P5145-5606" Beireis, who said this is her first live tournament.

"It's great," said Beireis of the experience thus far. "I'll be here all night!" she added.

Davis Wins on the River

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

The board read {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} with around 2,500 already in the middle and three players holding cards in front of themselves. Mark Davis was first to act, checking in the big blind and seeing a player bet 1,100 from under the gun. The player on the button raised to 3,000 and then Davis called, as did the under-the-gun player.

All three players checked the turn {3-Hearts} and the river came {9-Clubs}. Davis thought for a few moments and the under-the-gun player reached for chips as he did so. Davis paid no attention to the player on his left and reached for chips as well, grabbing 5,300 and sending it forward onto the felt.

After Davis's bet, the under-the-gun player's charade was up: he quickly folded, and the player on the button folded behind to earn Davis the pot.

Lott Wins at Showdown

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

There was a pile of T-100 chips in the middle on a flop reading {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and the big blind led out with a bet of 700. Jesse Lott raised to 2,000 in early position and saw two players fold behind, with the big blind calling the raise afterward.

The turn came {9-Spades} and the big blind led again for 4,000. Lott called, and both players checked the river {2-Spades} to take the hand to showdown.

The big blind tabled {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for a rivered two pair, nines and deuces, and it was bested by Lott's {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, which took down the pot with tens up.
