Serious Discussion Only at Table 40

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a multi-way flop of 55A, action checked all the way around to Bob Mather in the cutoff who tossed out a bet of 800 and found little resistance as each player folded.

Meanwhile, Rob Mariano and Mather debated on if Travis Kelce is better than Rob Gronkowski. They also admitted they are both jealous of tablemate Ben Ludlow as he is attending Taylor Swift tomorrow night.

Nguyen Busts Who??

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Joe Nguyen
Joe Nguyen

On a heads-up turn of 727J, Joe Nguyen led out for 2,000 into the pot of 11,000 and the player in the lojack made the call. The player on the button then bumped it up to 6,000 and Nguyen made the call, but then the lojack moved all in for 66,000.

The button got out of the way and Nguyen only hesitated for a few seconds before making the call to put his opponent at risk.

Opponent: 22
Joe Nguyen: 78

Nguyen had a strong hand with trip sevens, but his opponent already had him beat with his flopped full house of deuces full. Miraculously, the 7 smacked on the river to give Nguyen quads and sent his opponent to the rail as he rocketed up to 150,000.

"Wow, yeah, I really thought he just had ace-jack of diamonds," Nguyen admitted as he stacked his new chips.

In a wild twist, the "opponent" turned out to be WSOP sideline reporter and PokerGO legendary commentator and all-around good guy, Jeff Platt. Let the record also show that Platt was a good sport and gave Nguyen a fist bump before making his way to the exit.

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Short-stacked Victor Paredes moved all in preflop for his last 4,000 and Richard Green Jr and Thu Tran made the call to put him at risk.

The flop came out 757 and Green Jr bet 4,000 into the side pot and Tran made the call to see the 7 on the turn.

Both players then decided to check and went to the river 3 which saw a bet of 16,000 from Green Jr and Tran quickly folded.

Green Jr then flipped over 88 as he took the side pot but was then shown 1010 by Paredes to take the main pot.

Martin Doubles In Battle Royale

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

On a heads-up flop of 1058, Jerome Dean and Daniel "Reggie" Martin got all of the chips into the middle, with Martin at risk.

Daniel "Reggie" Martin: KK
Jerome Dean: QQ

Martin had a big advantage with his superior pair over Dean, and the runout of 38 ket it that way and he scooped the pot for a big double-up.
