Reeves Bubbles Final Table

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante
Lucas Reeves
Lucas Reeves

Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves opened on the button for a min-raise, Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer made it 350,000 in the next seat, and Reeves shoved for 1,272,066.

O'Dwyer was in there with a quick call holding {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and was fading {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Reeves would pair up on the turn but a queen wouldn't do it and he went down in 10th.

"EEE27" Busted

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Big miss for "EEE27."
Big miss for "EEE27."

"EEE27" shoved for 533,504 on the button with {10-Spades}{8-Spades} and Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo woke up with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a quick call out of the big blind.

The {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop brought a world of outs for EEE27, and the {9-Hearts} turn even more, but the board paired with the {7-Diamonds} river.

Eibinger Busted on Nasty Beat

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Matthias Eibinger
Matthias Eibinger

Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger opened to 84,000 on the button and called for just over 1 million when Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo shoved on his left.

Eibinger: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Pardo: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} was a nice flop for Eibinger, but the {2-Diamonds} turn left him in need on the river. An {a-Diamonds} wasn't the right sort of improvement and he bowed out in 12th.

Van Hoof was fading just two immediate outs and running eights kept the queens best.

Connor Drinan

While all attention as far as $10K PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker events goes will be on the $5 million guaranteed Main Event, all of the players who missed out on that final table were busy trying to make their way through other events. One such event: SCOOP-79-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller], $1M Gtd, which has seen 13 players advance into the money and into Day 2.

Tops among them at this point is Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo, bringing 4.2 million in at 17,500/35,000/4,500.

A star-studded field of opponents awaits him.

Sitting in second: high-stakes cash end boss Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger with 3.6 million. Some of the most successful players from this SCOOP have also made appearances, including Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof off his early heater and $25K winner Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer.

However, none are perhaps more notable at this point than Conor "blanconegro" Drinan, who has grabbed an unprecedented five titles in this series and is right in the middle of the chip counts.

Play resumes just over an hour from now, with $241,957 up top and $22,260 locked up for 13th.
