Pfeifer Doubles Through Magliarditi

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

On a {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Randy Pfeifer bet 5,100 and Pete Magliarditi moved all in, effectively putting Pfeifer to a decision for his remaining 35,000 or so. Pfiefer snap-called.

Magliarditi: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Pfeifer: {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Magliarditi's bluff was picked off, and he didn't catch any miracles with the {J-Spades} turn or {10-Clubs} river. Pfeifer is now working with around 75,000.

Guercio, Durante Eliminated at Table 7

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

We're down to 31 players after Sam Guercio and Dennis Durante were eliminated moments ago. First, Guercio's pocket tens went down to the pocket aces of David LiSacchi for a 60,000 pot. Then, Durante moved all in with {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and couldn't come from behind against Greg Nasso's {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} after the board ran out {8-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{K-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Salhab Doubles Through Clayton

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

On a flop of {10-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Tom Clayton let out with a bet of 10,000. Budway Salhab made it 25,000 to go and Clayton replied by three-betting all in. Salhab called for his tournament life and the hands were turned over:

Salhab: {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Clayton: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

Salhab was ahead at the moment with top two pair, but Clayton had a boatload of outs with any diamond, ace, or four giving him a better hand. Much to Salhab's delight, the turn was the {Q-Spades}, giving him a full house of queens full of tens and extending his lead even further. The {9-Clubs} on the river failed to give Clayton a bigger full house and Salhab secured a double up to about 135,000 total.

Nasso Bluffs Into Clayton's Set

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Shortly after doubling through Kai Koppe by hitting a thee-outer on the river, Tom Clayton eliminated Greg Nasso to increase his stack to 194000. On a {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, Nasso moved all in for 55,000 with {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Clayton called with {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for the nuts. The {J-Diamonds} turn gave Nasso an open-ender, but the {9-Diamonds} bricked to eliminate Nasso, who started the day among the leaders.

Ladies For Thomas

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

After a series of raises before the flop, Travell Thomas called the all in of a shorter stacked player for about 30,000 total. Thomas tabled {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and was well ahead of his opponent's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

The {4-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop prompted Thomas' opponent to stand up from the table and he made his exit as the {2-Diamonds} turned and the {8-Diamonds} rivered. Thomas picked up the pot and now sits on about 95,000 in chips.

Aitchison Doubles Through The Candy Man

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Scott Aitchison
Scott Aitchison

Randy Pfeifer opened with a raise to 5,000 from middle position and Pete Magliarditi, who still had several Snickers bars in front of him, called from the cutoff. Scott Aitchison then three-bet to 22,500 from the big blind, and only Magliarditi called.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Aitchison bet 25,000. Magliarditi quickly min-raised to 50,000, and Aitchison responded by moving all in for 86,700 more. Magliarditi went deep into the tank.

"Time to double up I guess," he said, but we're not sure if he was talking about him or Aitchison. A minute later he made the call, and the cards were tabled.

Aitchison: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Magliarditi: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Aitchison needed to fade a six through the turn and river, and he did so when the dealer rolled out the {8-Clubs} and {J-Clubs}. Aitchison is up to around 330,000. Magliarditi was eliminated two hands later.

Spears Eliminates Przybyl; Redraw Time

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

We're down to our final three tables after Andy Spears took the last of Steven Przybyl's chips at the feature table. Spears opened with a raise to 6,000 form the button and Przybyl defended his big blind to see a {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} flop. Przybyl led out for 10,000 and Spears called. The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Przybyl shoved. Spears snapped it off.

Przybyl: {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Spears: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The {9-Spades} on the river spelled the end of the tournament for Przybyl. Meanwhile, Spears increased his lead and is now sitting behind a stack of around 470,000.

The final 27 players are taking their new seats. We'll have a full redraw for you shortly.
