Sonny Rattan Eliminated in 5th Place ($2,607)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Darrin Bracken won't soon forget this rollercoaster of a hand.

Bracken raised to 210,000 from the cutoff and Sonny Rattan shoved for 635,000 from the button. After getting an exact count Brackin pushed the calling chips into the pot.

Bracken: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Rattan: {K-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{A-Hearts} flop gave Bracken bottom set, but Rattan recognized that he wasn't dead yet.

"How 'bout a ten," he pleaded to the dealer.

Turn: {10-Hearts}

Rattan pumped his fist at the sight of his straight, but Bracken still had plenty of outs to send Rattan to the rail.

River: {6-Clubs}

Bingo. The table exploded as Bracken hit quads on the river. Rattan shook his head and made his way to the cashier.

Chris Ventura Eliminated in 4th Place ($3,511)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

On a flop of {K-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, Michael Sweeney bet 300,000 and Chris Ventura moved all in. Sweeney beat him into the pot.

Sweeney: {J-Spades}{8-Spades}
Ventura: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Sweeney was behind but had countless outs, and one of them arrived on the turn as the dealer flipped the {8-Clubs}. The {10-Hearts} river improved Ventura but it wasn't enough. He exited in fourth place for $3,511.

Peter Raimondi spent much of the day atop the chip counts. The first time he was the short stack, he couldn't recover.

Raimondi and Michael Sweeney saw a flop of {2-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Raimondi got all of his chips in with {K-Spades}{10-Spades} against Sweeney's {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}. The {6-Diamonds} turn and {9-Spades} river secured the win for Sweeney. We're now heads-up for the title!

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Michael Sweeney raised to 310,000 and Darren Bracken called to see a {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop. Bracken checked, Sweenet bet 500,000 and Bracken check-shoved for 2,300,000. Sweeney called.

Bracken: {A-Spades}{4-Spades}
Sweeney: {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Sweeney called for red cards and he got one on the {J-Diamonds} turn. But the {Q-Spades} river completed Bracken's flush and he doubled up.

Michael Sweeney Eliminated in 2nd Place ($7,710)

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Michael Sweeney -- 2nd Place
Michael Sweeney -- 2nd Place

Michael Sweeney raised his button and Darrin Bracken called to see a {8-Clubs}{A-Spades}{9-Spades} flop. Bracken bet 500,000 and Sweeney called, bringing the {Q-Clubs} on the turn. Bracken moved all in, and Sweeney snapped him off.

Bracken: {10-Spades}{6-Spades}
Sweeney: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Sweeney turned a set of queens and slammed them proudly onto the felt, but Bracken was drawing live to straight and flush draws. Sure enough, the {J-Spades} landed on the river to deliver Bracken's flush. Sweeney will have to be content with a second-place finish for $7,710.

Bracken, meanwhile, collects $12,502 for his first place finish, along with the Event #2 trophy. Stay tuned for a full recap from the final day of action.
