Raimondi Railed

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

We walked over to Table 9 to see Peter Raimondi all in for 6,250 form the small blind, although it appeared there had been some prior raises pulled into the pot. The player on the button was in the tank and eventually decided to call.

Raimondi: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Button: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}

Raimondi stood up from his seat as the dealer rolled out a {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board, and he quickly exited the tournament area.

Quads for Pachla

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

We saw Scott Aitchison packing up his things at Table 11 so we hurried over to see that his turned straight had been bested by the rivered quads of Alicia Pachla. Aitchison had the {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} on a {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board, and Pachla had the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. All of Aitchison's remaining chip went in on the river and was eliminated. We'll see if he sticks around to re-enter.

Powell Pacing the Field

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Richard Powell owns the biggest stack in the room after winning a sizable pot at Table 7. After the player to his direct right limped, Powell raised to 1,400 and two players called to see the {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop. Powell fired 2,400 and got two callers, bringing the {2-Clubs} on the turn. Once again Powell took command, betting 5,300, and only the player to his right came along.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and both players checked.

"Ace," said Powell as he tabled the {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. His opponent mucked, and Powell raked in the pot.
