Thomas Busts

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Travell Thomas lost a big pot shortly after doubling, and then on the next hand he committed the last of his chips with the {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} against {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Thomas whiffed on the {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board and hit the rail.

"I don't win flips," said Thomas. "I'm gonna stop getting in 'em."

Thomas says he's not sure if he'll play the final flight tonight. That will be his last chance to advance to Day 2.

Pfeifer Falls

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Randy Pfeifer moved all in for his last 2,800 from middle position and two players called. They checked all they way to the {J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades} river and one player bet 2,000, which induced a fold. Pfiefer needed to beat the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} but flipped over the {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and made his exit from the poker room.

Hoss Rivers a Ten

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Ray Book raised to 4,000 from under the gun and action folded to Hoss Colao who shoved for 24,000 from the button. The small blind folded and the big blind reshoved, prompting Book to fold. Cards on their backs.

Colao: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Big Blind: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

Colao was in dire need of some help and it looked bleak on the {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{Q-Hearts} flop. The {3-Clubs} on the turn left him drawing to three outs, but sure enough the {10-Diamonds} peeled off on the river to give him a winning pair and the double.

Press' Quads Clip Lukacovic

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Ryan Press opened from middle position and Frank Lukacovic three-bet to 10,000 from directly behind. Back on Press, he moved all in for 38,000 and Lukacovic called.

Lukacovic: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Press: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

It was all over quickly as the dealer fanned a {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop to give Press quads, and the {K-Clubs} turn and {6-Spades} river left Lukacovic with less than 8,000 in chips. He was eliminated on the next hand.

Three More Hands

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The tournament staff stopped the clock and drew a number three from the deck, which means there will only be three more hands in Flight E before players bag and tag for the night. We'll have a full chip count list and a recap upon the completion of play.
