Scanlon Doubles Through Lauricella

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Tom Scanlon was all in preflop with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} against Erik Lauricella's {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Lauricella only had a few thousand behind, so he was virtually at risk as well. The dealer rolled out a {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} board, and Scanlon's pair held up. Lauricella was eliminated on the next hand.

Greenly Cracks Aces

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Adam Greenly, Jeff Katz and another player were all in before the flop Katz's {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} were in great shape to secure a huge pot against Greenly's {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and the other player's {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, but the {Q-Clubs} arrived in the window to shift Greenly into the lead. His set held up and two players were eliminated, leaving us on the money bubble.

MacKinnon Triples Up

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Randy Swackhamer raised to 25,000 from middle position and Brian Moss three-bet to 70,000 from the cutoff. Tom MacKinnon called all in for 18,000 from the small blind, and Swackhamer released.

MacKinnon: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Moss: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out an uneventful {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and MacKinnon shipped the triple-up.
