Jimmy Thomson
Jimmy Thomson

Jimmy Thomson has moved firmly into the lead here after getting the best of a three-way pot with Nicholas Goetz and Eric Ylagam.

Thomson floated a raise from Ylagam and a re-raise from Goetz on a {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. Then shoved over a 16,200 bet from Ylagam on the {J-Diamonds} turn to force two folds.

Thomson showed the {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} despite not having to and is all alone at the top of the counts now.

Jimmy Thomson made it 4,500 and two seats over, one opponent made it 12,000, leaving himself around 11,000 behind.

Eric Ylagam then cold four-bet shipped it for 52,600 total and after Thomson folded, the three-better called it off with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Ylagam showed {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and held through an {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} run out with Thomson claiming to have let pocket queens go.

[Removed:340] Caught Bluffing

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

[Removed:339] had moved into the chip lead on over 200,000 when he got embroiled in a three-way pot with Paul McLean and a third player.

They checked a {7-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop to him with about 16,000 in the middle already and [Removed:340] led for 7,500. Only McLean called and the turn came the {a-Diamonds}. McLean check-called a 14,000-chip Elahge bet on this street and they moved on to the {9-Spades} river.

McLean checked again, then called after a brief pause for thought when [Removed:340] bet 23,000.

"Queen-high," claimed [Removed:340], as McLean showed {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and took it down.

[Removed:340] is now in a dead heat with Jimmy Thomson for the lead and McLean is closely in tow.

Louis Ortiz has joined the log jam at the top of the chip counts, flopping top two and getting it in against Darryl Bagley with a pair and a turned flush draw.

Ortiz faded danger on the river, leaving him stacked and Bagley on life support. He busted unceremoniously a few hands later.
