Alex Visbisky Leads Final Table of the 2015 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event

The final table was set in the 2015 Seneca Fall Poker Classic $1,000 Main Event in Niagara Falls, NY on Sunday.
After two starting flights that took place on Friday and Saturday, play started at 11 a.m. local time on Sunday with 60 players. Winner of the 2015 Western NY Poker Challenge Main Event and the 2014 Summer Slam Main Event, Colborne, ON, Canada's Buck Ramsay started the day with the chip lead and things only got better for him.
Before the 27-player money bubble had even popped, Ramsay was handed a 1.2 million-chip final table stack when Thomas Clayton ran kings into his aces. Ramsay hung on to the majority of those chips, and after the bubble did pop, rode into the final table in the middle of the pack without much of a sweat.
But, this day truly belonged to Cheektowaga, NY's Alex Visbisky.
Visbisky started near the bottom of the chip count list, coming in with under 40,000 and a prayer. The prayer was answered more than a few times, as he managed to put off elimination with some timely luck to survive through the bubble.
He got down to five big blinds in the money and was making plans for dinner with his mom on her birthday when he suddenly went on a rush that included getting it in with aces over two players holding kings and jacks for a more than 700,000 in the pot. Visbisky rode the momentum from that win into a battle with perennial contender Pat Tighe, getting the best of him on the way to the final 10, before bagging a chip-leading 1.785 million coming into Monday's nine-handed final.
Kurtis Boutelle had a big day as well, picking up aces twice to win two huge pots. After some solid play the rest of the way, he'll come in just under Visbisky.
In the meantime, Ryan Rivers played a ton of hands to get to a little under 1.3 million, while Nathan Torrance played very few to bag a little over. They'll both come in with solid stacks at the next level when play resumes.
Silvio DeRubeis, David Battaglia, and Tony Dojka will all add to their growing stats here at Seneca coming in on the shorter side with "Kid Karma's Uncle" Alfred Stempien joining them.
The final table will go off inside the Niagara Falls Poker Room beginning at 12 p.m. local time on Monday with a $62,933 first-place prize on the line and each player guaranteed at least $5,779.
