On a bright and crisp Sunday morning in the shadow of Niagara Falls, Day 2 of the 2015 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event is set to go off.

After two starting flights drew 291 entries, crushing the $200,000 guarantee, just 60 players remain in the hunt for a piece of a $256,866 prize pool. The money starts at 27 and a while a min-cash is worth $1,952, a championship trophy, Seneca Niagara poker glory and a $62,933 top prize awaits the winner.

The winner of both the 2015 Western NY Poker Challenge Main Event and the 2014 Summer Slam Main Event here at Seneca, Port Colborne, ON, Canada's Buck Ramsay has the inside track on all that. He got hit by the deck once again, building a massive 461,500-chip stack on Day 1a and will bring the lead into Day 2.

Capturing this title will be no easy task, however, as a host of the area's best players fill the top of the leader board, including defending Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event champion Rick Block, 2015 Western NY Poker Challenge prelim winner Pat Tighe, and 2013 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event finalist Jason Nablo.

Plus, some of Western New York's most respected rounders will come in with six-figure stacks and a true desire to win, including Joe Ciffa, Alex Rivera, Cameron Bartolotta, Silvio DeRubeis, Keith Mueller and David Battaglia.

Play will resume at 11 a.m. local time with blinds at 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante as the field squares off in a battle for a seat at the 2015 Seneca Niagara Poker Classic Main Event final table planned for Monday.

PokerNews will be on hand from start to finish and you can follow along right here.

Tighe Leads!

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Pat Tighe
Pat Tighe

It's a slow start for everyone in the room outside of Pat Tighe, who continues on a heater from last night.

A number of short stacks busted to other short stacks, leaving just 54 remaining. But Tighe just moved into the lead, busting two players in a single hand and winning a 300,000 chip pot.

It was all in preflop with Tighe's {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} holding versus Keith Mueller's {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Joseph Calderon's {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} on a {2-}{8-}{2-}{2-}{3-} board.

Buck's Back

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Buck Ramsay
Buck Ramsay

Some solid decisions have led Buck Ramsay back up into a dead heat with Pat Tighe for the lead now.

The latest included calling one shorter stack's 60,000-chip shove with two sixes. The pair held against {a-}{k-} on a queen-high board that gave Ramsay's opponent a gutter on the turn, but not much else.

Huge Cooler Hands Ramsay 1.2 Million Chips

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Buck Ramsay
Buck Ramsay

A massive cooler just sent Thomas Clayton to the rail and Buck Ramsay soaring above the rest of the field.

Ramsay made it 14,000 from the button. Clayton three-bet from the small blind, making it 29,000. Ramsay bumped it to 65,000 and Clayton five-bet, putting in 170,000.

Ramsay six-bet jammed his 600,000-plus total and Clayton called off the 270,000 he had behind.

Ramsay: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Clayton; {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, taking Clayton with it and handing the hot-running Ramsay a massive lead.

Nablo Done On The Bubble

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Jason Nablo
Jason Nablo

Everything went wrong for Jason Nablo today and he just bubbled the bubble.

After bluffing off a ton of chips to Kyle Rzeszutek when Rzeszutek called him down with third pair, Nablo just shipped Rzeszutek the rest.

Nablo got it in with the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for his last 75,000 and Rzeszutek looked him up with the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Sixes held on an {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} board and with Nablo's exit, play has moved to hand-for-hand on the money bubble.

Tighe Profits From Four-Way All In

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Pat Tighe
Pat Tighe

Max Droege open shoved. Cathy Schenone pushed in from the cutoff for a little more on 125,000, and Pat Tighe cold called from the button.

Hasan Jamil then tank-shoved a little over 300,000 from the big blind and after standing out of his chair and thinking about it for a minute, Tighe slid in a call.

Tighe: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Droege: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Jamil: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Schenone: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The board rolled out {8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Spades} and although Droege made trips to quad up, Tighe profited huge on the side to vault up the counts, sending Jamil and Schenone out.

Dae Dae Survives; Phillips Doesn't

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Tyler Phillips
Tyler Phillips

Kurtis Boutelle led for 35,000. Ryan Rivers three-bet, making it 80,000, before David Battaglia jammed in from the big blind for 185,000 total.

Boutelle folded, but Rivers made the call with the {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Battaglia was ahead with the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} but needed to fade an ace.

The {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} gave Battaglia a sweat, but a double.

The very next hand saw Tyler Phillips run queens into Boutelle's kings all in preflop, busting in this classic cooler on a board of bricks and allowing Boutelle to extend his lead with 11 left now.

Alex Visbisky Leads Final Table of the 2015 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Alex Visbisky
Alex Visbisky

The final table was set in the 2015 Seneca Fall Poker Classic $1,000 Main Event in Niagara Falls, NY on Sunday.

After two starting flights that took place on Friday and Saturday, play started at 11 a.m. local time on Sunday with 60 players. Winner of the 2015 Western NY Poker Challenge Main Event and the 2014 Summer Slam Main Event, Colborne, ON, Canada's Buck Ramsay started the day with the chip lead and things only got better for him.

Before the 27-player money bubble had even popped, Ramsay was handed a 1.2 million-chip final table stack when Thomas Clayton ran kings into his aces. Ramsay hung on to the majority of those chips, and after the bubble did pop, rode into the final table in the middle of the pack without much of a sweat.

But, this day truly belonged to Cheektowaga, NY's Alex Visbisky.

Visbisky started near the bottom of the chip count list, coming in with under 40,000 and a prayer. The prayer was answered more than a few times, as he managed to put off elimination with some timely luck to survive through the bubble.

He got down to five big blinds in the money and was making plans for dinner with his mom on her birthday when he suddenly went on a rush that included getting it in with aces over two players holding kings and jacks for a more than 700,000 in the pot. Visbisky rode the momentum from that win into a battle with perennial contender Pat Tighe, getting the best of him on the way to the final 10, before bagging a chip-leading 1.785 million coming into Monday's nine-handed final.

Kurtis Boutelle had a big day as well, picking up aces twice to win two huge pots. After some solid play the rest of the way, he'll come in just under Visbisky.

In the meantime, Ryan Rivers played a ton of hands to get to a little under 1.3 million, while Nathan Torrance played very few to bag a little over. They'll both come in with solid stacks at the next level when play resumes.

Silvio DeRubeis, David Battaglia, and Tony Dojka will all add to their growing stats here at Seneca coming in on the shorter side with "Kid Karma's Uncle" Alfred Stempien joining them.

The final table will go off inside the Niagara Falls Poker Room beginning at 12 p.m. local time on Monday with a $62,933 first-place prize on the line and each player guaranteed at least $5,779.

PokerNews will be on hand providing coverage until a winner is crowned, so tune in then to follow all the action live.
