Local rounder John Abraham is making a bit of a run. He recently made a min-raise pre-flop and found a willing caller in the big blind.
The flop came and after a check, Abraham made it 1,000. The big blind fired back with a min-raise of his own making it 2,000 and Abraham promptly shoved. The big blind called with but Abraham had flopped two pair holding .
It held on the run out and Abraham collected another soul on the way to a 40k+ stack.

The hand began with a Thomas raise to 1,700 and Suraf defending his big blind with a call. The flop came and after a Suraf check, Thomas kept his foot on the gas, making it 1,800.
Suraf called, but checked again when the straightening turn was revealed. Thomas took very little time in firing out 3,000 and Suraf was forced to fold.
Things went South in a big hurry for two-time WSOPC ring winner Travell Thomas.
First he ran into queens with less than stellar holdings and after finding an ace to double up his short stack once, he ran into an ace with to end his day.
