Bruce Pace just got the double knockout, sending Kaveh Tehrani and Rob Davis to the cage and leaving 25 players remaining.

It was Davis' eights and Tehrani's fours up against Pace on two queens, and after a board of blanks, they said goodbye.

Reinhardt Rules After Ill-Timed Anselmini Shove

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Abe Reinhardt
Abe Reinhardt

It's Christmas in July for Abe Reinhardt, who just got all but a few chips from Joseph Anselmini's massive stack in an almost-million-chip pot moments ago.

Reinhardt made it 28,000 on the button, Daysha Whitaker called from the small blind and Anselmini bumped it to 72,000 in the big.

Reinhardt flatted, Whitaker folded, and they went heads up to a {Q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop. Anselmini open-jammed it in for a whopping 459,000 and Reinhardt called with the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Anselmini had the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and a boatload of regrets after, as he whiffed the turn and river, handing Reinhardt the massive chip lead with 22 left and the end of Level 21 minutes away.

Kid Karma Puts Pace On The Rail

John Stempien made it 32,000 from middle position, and after two calls, Bruce Pace shoved the big blind for almost 200,000 total.

Stempien had 203,000 and made the call with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Two folds later, Pace showed the {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}, and said goodbye after missing the {6-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} board completely.

Stempien's now a player with 21 left as another fun run by Pace ends.

Whitaker Doubles Through Reinhardt

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Daysha Whitaker just took a chunk out of chip leader Abe Reinhardt, doubling up to stay alive.

Whitaker got it all in for around 200,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and was ahead the whole way versus Reinhardt's {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}. She paired up on the flop, but there was a sweat.

The board rolled out {3-Spades}{a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} giving Reinhardt a spade draw and a pair that, in the end, wasn't enough.

Glassman Out After Huening Spikes

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

2016 WSOP Colossus II 10th-place finisher Hayden Glassman is out.

He shoved jacks on a nine high-flop and looked good to double big when John Huening looked him up with an unconnected {a-}{q-}. Huening spiked an ace on the turn and changed that fast.

They are now down to two tables and redrawing for seats.

Paul McLean got it in with too few chips to really matter and Sebastian Chirdo called.

James DiPasquale came over the top all in for 200,000 and Chirdo convinced himself it was a race before calling with two fives. It wasn't.

McLean had the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, but DiPasquale had two aces and held on a board of bricks to double and send McLean out.
