Maria Parlatore got it all in with the {a-}{q-} versus Jason Nablo's jacks and hit a queen on the flop.

However, her run ended when Nablo found a miracle jack on the turn.

Now, Parlatore is headed to the cage to collect her winnings as Nablo is climbing the leaderboard closing in on 500,000.

Healy Cracks A Million

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Brian Healy just became the first player over the one-million-chip mark. He got there when Jim Girdlestone shoved a weak ace and he woke up with jacks.

Healy's pair held with ease, but holding on to that 1.1 million-chip stack might now prove tougher. Blake Napierala was just moved to his direct right sitting on 850,000.

Flipping The Script

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Chris Damick
Chris Damick

Twenty minutes ago Chris Damick could be heard lamenting his luck, claiming all his big hands were already behind him.

Meanwhile, Scott Hosbach has been on a tear all day long, moving in the other direction on the leaderboard.

Now, the script has suddenly flipped. Hosbach managed to bluff off heaps into Damick's aces full and while Hosbach's now out, Damick is back near the top of the counts again.

Hero To Zero

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Alex Avdelopoulos
Alex Avdelopoulos

The day started out great for chip leader Alex Avdelopoulos. He took Sahar Khajavi's top-ten stack making a full house against her aces to add to his lead. Things went decidedly downhill from there.

Minutes ago, the downswing ended at the bottom when he got in 250,000 chips preflop with {a-}{10-} versus Brian Dugan's jacks.

The jacks held and while the start-of-the-chip leader is out, Dugan joins the leaders with 30 players remaining, closing in on the second break of the day.

They are down to 23 are three tables and Brian Healy and Matt Brunskole are in a dead-heat for the lead. Plus, there's a host of local heroes hanging around.

Here's how the stacks look smack in the middle of Level 21 at 8,000/16,000 blinds:

Blake Again!

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Blake Napierala
Blake Napierala

Paul Zakamarko opened from middle position with about 300,000 behind. When it got to chip leader Brian Healy in the small blind, he pushed all in.

Blake Napierala had two black aces in the big blind and 880,000 in chips. He called! Zakamarko mucked and Healy had the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

Blake's {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} cruised to the massive double up on a {7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board that even gave him the salt-in-the-wound set.

Stop me if you've heard this before, but Blake Napierala is now leading after picking up aces in the dream spot for all the chips.

Healy is still in with a healthy 800,000 and they're dropping like flies around here, down to 18 and at the final two tables.
