$125 No-Limit Hold'em Reentry
Day 1f Started
The 2017 Seneca Niagara Falls Summer Slam tournament series continues Wednesday evening inside the Niagara Falls Poker Room at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino with the sixth and final starting flight for the $125 No-Limit Hold'em Reentry event.
This is what poker is about. It's fun, and it's a great opportunity to win a lot for just a little.
With six starting flights, this event will create a big prizepool and it's only $125 to get in. In fact, the prizepool has already reached the $30,000 mark, so it's just a matter of how big it can get over this last flight.
Everyone from Western New York's finest tournament players to tourists coming to see the Falls can take a shot, multiple shots if they so choose. In fact, registration and unlimited reentry is available through to the start of Level 9. Plus, even those who bag chips in one flight can take a final shot here in an effort to put away even more. They will carry the best stack forward.
Players will start with 10,000 in chips and play 14 full 30-minute levels or until 12 percent of the entries remain. Those who survive will push through to Day 2 Thursday where the big money awaits.
So far there have been 323 entries and 42 players have survived.
This final flight starts at 6 p.m. local time today and this is the last chance to get in.
It should be tons of fun from start to finish with plenty of poker action and you're welcome to follow along with it all right here on PokerNews.

It's a fast start in terms of the number of entries for this sixth and final flight.
So far the board reads 64 and counting, making this the first flight past 50 in Level 2.
The night flight's have been averaging around 75 players, but with registration and reentry available until the end of Level 8, and word spreading about this growing prizepool, it would not be a surprise to hit 100 tonight.
It's a wait and see kind of thing, although the group below isn't waiting, they're playing:

Maria Parlatore | 10,000 | |
Marcy Jo Phillips | 10,000 | 10,000 |

Rob Burgstahler flopped quad queens, but that wasn't the end of his luck.
He was fortunate enough to have one opponent turn a flush and they got it all in.
The full double should give Burgstahler a share of the lead heading into the first break of the day.
Player | Chips | Progress |
---|---|---|
Rob Burgstahler | 20,000 | 20,000 |
The reentry bell has been rung at a regular rate from the start tonight. With 89 entries on the board coming to the end of Level 3, this is already the largest flight of six so far. They're flying in, and then back in, at a record setting pace.
Leading the league in reentry so far is Maria 'Poker Queen' Parlatore, who has bought in three times. Cameron Bartolotta is a close second with two.
It looked like Ted Blaszczak might be getting ready to ring the bell as well, but it turns out he was just standing around hitting on one of the floor guy's daughters and had actually doubled up to join the leaders heading into the break.
Player | Chips | Progress |

Ted Blaszczak | 22,000 | 12,000 |
