Stagliano Sends Adams Home First

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

The Fall Poker Classic has now had its first elimination. Nicola Stagliano said " I did not realize how short he was until he moved all in for his remaining few thousand on the river". Stagliano easily made the call as the board was showing all under to his pocket kings.

Eric Adams was the casualty and said he also had a pair while chucking his cards into the muck, giving Stagliano the pot and the first elimination of the tournament.

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

John Land opened to 800 form under the gun, George Alemkunnapuzha made the call from the cutoff and the flop came down {3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Land led for 1,000, Alemkunnapuzha made the call and a {10-Clubs} fell on the turn.

Land pushed in a bet of 2,000, Alemkunnapuzha thought for several moments before chucking his cards into the muck and Land took down the much needed pot, adding some chips to his depleted stack.

Zou Sends Mader Home

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Thomas Mader found himseld as a short stack and decided to move his remaining 4,300 all in from late position. Henry Zou made the call from the button and the big blind opponent stuck around as well.

The dealer fanned out a {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, action checked to Zou who moved all in and the big blind player quickly folded. The two remaining players turned over their hands, Mader showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for ace high and Zou tabled {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a flopped pair of tens.

The {q-Clubs} on the turn and {q-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing as Mader was eliminated from the tournament and Zou added some chips back to his stack.
