Day 1d Started
Players have one more shot Saturday evening to book their seat for Day 2 of Event #2: $200 No-Limit Hold'em $50,000 Guarantee. Fortunately for all players, there have been 480 entries through the first three flights and the guarantee has already been smashed.
Day 1c will get underway at 6 p.m. local time in the Seneca Niagara poker room. Players will start with 15,000 in chips and play 30-minute blind levels. Late registration and unlimited re-entry are available until the start of Level 9. Players may fire more than one flight with only their largest stack moving forward to Day 2.
At the 2017 Summer Slam, a total of 520 entries were received. Jeff Roth took home the top honors after multiple deals chopped up the prize pool at the final table. Roth cashed for $8,992 and took home the trophy after play ended four-handed with him in the lead.
Through the first three flights, just 63 have booked a seat on Day 2. Andy Spears holds the current chip lead after bagging 326,200 on Day 1a.

Blake Napierala opened to 400 from early position sparking a fury of bets. Firstly, the player in middle position three-bet to 1,700. That bet was flatted by Jason Clarke in late position.
Then, Joe Catalano tried to four-bet shove but left some behind which the dealer deemed to be a string bet so a raise of about 5,000 stood. The player in mid position flatted only to see Clarke five-bet shove, having both players covered. Catalano stuck in the rest and so did the player in middle position.

The board ran out and the queens held to bust both players.
