There is a buzz in the air here at Grand Casino, Liechtenstein as players eagerly await the start of Day 2 of the Main Event of The Hendon Mob Winter Championships by Unibet Deepstack Open.
Late registration has just closed in Day 1h, the final flight, which kicked off at noon and attracted 90 entries, with 48 players currently remaining. Details of Day 1h qualifiers will follow after conclusion of the flight, with prize pool payout information to follow as soon as it is finalized.
Day 2 will commence at 4 p.m. today, with blinds starting at 3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 big blind ante.
89 players are currently through, to be supplemented by Day 1h qualifiers in due course, all of whom will be seeking to navigate twelve 45-minute levels to reach Day 3. Nicola Diaco (1,045,000) currently leads the way with a significant chip lead over the rest of the field.
