The flop showed and there were roughly 23,000 chips in the pot. Brian Ellison bet 12,000 and Rafael Sa'adah called.
Seth Simmons pushed his stack into the middle, totaling 62,100 and Ellison quickly folded. Sa'adah called the shove and they turned over their cards.
Seth Simmons:
Rafael Sa'adah:
The top two were leading the way but Sa'adah had outs to hit. An rolled out on the turn, leaving Simmons in front and he held on when the completed the board.
Simmons pulled in the pot, catapulting him near the top of the field, while Sa'adah was left short in the process.
John Cramer moved all in for his remaining 7,000 and Randall Bott was the only player to stick around for a showdown.
John Cramer:
Randall Bott:
The board came down and Cramer took down the pot with a flopped ace to double.
Cramer then took down two more pots, the latter being against Marcus Hsia who pushed his 25,700 stack into the middle. Cramer called and had Hsia covered.
Marcus Hsia:
John Cramer:
The flop came down and Hsia was well in front with his pair of nines. A brought forth the possibility of runner-runner flush for Cramer and he slapped it on the river to pull in the pot.
Hsia looked shocked as he took a walk out the door and Cramer laughed at this fortuitous run of cards to end the level.
The board was complete and showed . Nada Siddik checked to David Hughes who looked at the pot, which was around 45,000, and he then bet 30,000.
Siddik only had 20,400 behind and hit the tank. In the end, she called for her tournament life, tabling for top two and Hughes laughed when he showed , giving him just a pair of hockey sticks.
Siddik took down the healthy-sized pot, doubling her stack in the process and Hughes was left on the shorter side of things.
