Lucky Turn Sends a Pot to Castillo

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

The flop was [10c7h5] and Ivan Hallal Castillo was faced with a check-shove of around 9,500 by Jason Hicks. Castillo called and was in rough shape when they turned over their hands.

Jason Hicks: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Ivan Hallal Castillo: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}

A dominating hand turned into a major dog once the {7-Diamonds} rolled out. Hicks was behind but picked up some diamond outs that could save him.

The {j-Clubs} river was of no help to Hicks who was sent to the sidelines after an unfortunate turn card, shipping all the chips to Castillo.

Ingram Flips Himself Back to Starting

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Nathan Jessen opened to 1,500 and Jerry Ingram three-bet jammed 8,900. A player in the big blind moved their 9,800 into the middle and Jessen folded.

Jerry Ingram: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board came down {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Ingram's boat was more than enough to take down the pot, putting him back over starting stack.

Muniz Runs into a Monster

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Gustavo Da Rosa Muniz moved his last 4,200 into the pot and Joshua Nuncio called. Christopher Aguilar three-bet jammed 16,800, Nuncio folded and the two turned over their cards.

Gustavo Da Rosa Muniz: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Christopher Aguilar: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The uneventful {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts} board rolled out and Aguilar pulled in the chips with his kings, dropping Muniz from the table.

Big Turn Sends a Triple to Miller

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Tad Macaraeg opened to 1,600 from middle position and Joe Rogers called in the hijack. Scott Miller pushed from the small blind, totaling 7,600 and Simon Webster called in the big blind.

Macaraeg folded and Rogers called to see the {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop. Both players checked through to the {a-Clubs} turn where webster fired in 13,000. Rogers quickly folded and Webster turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a flopped set of dimes.

Miller showed the goods, tabling a hand-leading straight with {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. "Come on deuce!" he said while looking to fade Webster's outs. A duck didn't fall but the {j-Diamonds} river was of no harm and he pulled in the pot with his broadway.

Comeskey Misses, Paulekas Benefits

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The turned board showed {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} and the pot was around 10,600. Caitlin Comeskey bet 11,000 and Ryan Paulekas shoved for a few thousand more than she had total.

Comeskey called and turned over {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for a pair of johnnies with the spade draw. Paulekas tabled {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, giving him the straight and current best hand.

The {3-Diamonds} brick came as a river card and Paulekas held on to take down the hand, taking Comeskey's sack just moments before break.
