Jozoff Falls to the Bottom

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Michael Jozoff and Michael Alvarez put all of their chips into the middle. Jozoff had Alvarez at risk and they then flipped over their hands.

Michael Alvarez: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Michael Jozoff: {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The flop fell {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Jozoff was in the lead with his flopped nine. The {5-Spades} came down as a turn card, leaving Alvarez with one last shot.

A fortuitous {a-Clubs} completed the board for Alvarez, hitting a bullet to take down the pot. Jozoff fell to the bottom of the final four in the process.

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Marc Lesitsky
Marc Lesitsky

Marc Lesitsky moved all in preflop and was called by Mohammad Bagheri.

Lesitsky was in deep trouble with the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} vs the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} of Bagheri.

There was a two in the window to give hope but it was followed by a ten in the door as the flop came {2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades} to give both players a set.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and the river the {10-Diamonds} to give Bagheri quads and end the run for Lesitsky.

Daniel Zambrano: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Mohammad Bagheri: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Bagheri was in front with his queens. A {6-Diamonds} turn and {10-Clubs} river failed to improve Zambrano who was eliminated in 6th place.

Chris Staats
Chris Staats

Mahesh Rathi limped from under the gun, and Michael Jozoff completed his small blind. Chris Staats then moved all in for around 700,000 from the big blind and Rathi called. Jozoff folded and the players turned over their hands.

Chris Staats: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Mahesh Rathi: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The dealer fanned out {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} on the flop, hitting both players but Rathi hit a little harder with his set.

A {4-Hearts} turn sealed it for Rathi who had Staats drawing dead to the {5-Diamonds} river card.

Staats was eliminated in 7th place and now just six are left to battle it out. Rathi took a shot at the $40,000 bounty but pulled $800 instead.

Michael Noori moved all in from early position. Mohammad Bagheri shoved for more in the hijack and everyone else folded.

Norrri had the {q-Spades}{j-Spades} while Bagheri had the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop came with a sweat {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and the river was the {5-Clubs} to end the night for Noori.

He then went to redeem his four bounty chips.

Once again the room waited with bated breath. He drew two $1,000 bounties, then got the second largest one remaining the $7,500 and finished it off with a nervous peel that was only a $400.

Bagheri then chose to draw his newly collected bounty which was the $1,000 to keep the $40,000 still looming.
