Another Fortuitous Runout for Wilson

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The action folded around to Jack Wilson who shoved around 330,000 and Fausto Saucedo was the only player to call, putting Wilson at risk once more.

Jack Wilson: {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Fausto Saucedo: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The dealer spread {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} out on the flop, hitting Wilson with a hockey stick to take the lead. A {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} runout sealed it for him and he pulled in a double thanks to a lucky flop.

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
George Bronstein
George Bronstein

Michael Noori moved all in from middle position, George Bronstein called in the hijack for less and everyone else got out of the way.

George Bronstein: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Michael Noori: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop came disastrously for Bronstein {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Spades} pairing the ace and giving Noori a spade draw. the turn was the {9-Hearts} and the river came the {7-Spades} to give Noori and unneeded flush.

Bronstein would draw his bounty from the pile once he was eliminated, he feigned that he got the $40,000 but in actuality, it was one of the $2,500 ones.

Saucedo Finds Some Love on the River

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Awonke Phewa opened for 2.5 big blinds and Fausto Saucedo jammed 330,000. Phewa called and the cards went face up in what was a classic flip.

Fausto Saucedo: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Awonke Phewa: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} and sailboats were in the lead. A {q-Spades} turn left Saucedo with one last chance for romance and some love showed up on the {a-Spades} river, hitting him with a pair of bullets to pull in a double.

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Fausto Saucedo
Fausto Saucedo

Marc Lesitsky opened to 90,000 and Fausto Saucedo then shoved for a total of 530,000. Blake Whittington pushed over the top and Lesitsky elected to fold.

Fausto Saucedo: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Blake Whittington: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The flop fell {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Whittington was sitting pretty with his ladies. An {a-Spades} turn left Saucedo in need of of a nickel but he failed to hit on the {8-Clubs} river and was eliminated.

Whittington quickly handed in his newly acquired bounty chip in hopes of hitting that top prize but secured $400 instead.

Awonke Phewa Eliminated in 13th Place ($1,905)

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Awonke Phewa
Awonke Phewa

There was a big three-way all in preflop with Awonke Phewa at risk with the {q-Spades}{6-Spades}, Mohammad Bagheri had the {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} while Mahesh Rathi had the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} to give the big pot to Rathi, shorten Bagheri and eliminate Phewa.

Phewa then went to cash in his four bounty chips and draw envelopes. He dramatically peeled each one as the room watched and rooted for the $40,000 to come off, while the remaining players with bounties anti-sweated the $40,000 jackpot.

The first three he slowly revealed one number at a time, each time the $4 coming up first to heighten the excitement but they were all disappointingly just $400 bounty cards. On the last one he chose to quickly whip it open and reveal it to the crowd watching first, but it was another $400 as he got the minimum from the four bounty cards.
