Rudy Cadenas moved his last 22,000 into the middle and Stephen Bartlett was the lone caller.

Rudy Cadenas: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Stephen Bartlett: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The flip became a one-sided affair when {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades} spread as a flop. The {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs} runout changed not a thing for Cadenas who was eliminated shortly after the break, sending his chips to Bartlett who has a healthy-sized stack here on Day 1c.

Alverez Stacks Welsh with Treys

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Ryan Welsh opened from under the gun and Jason Alverez shoved his big blind. Welsh called for less, having around 42,000 and the two turned over their hands.

Ryan Welsh: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Jason Alverez: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop hit the felt, adding some outs for Welsh. A {q-Clubs} turn brought even more outs but the {4-Spades} were none of them and he was eliminated by the treys of Alverez.

Red-Hot Jessen Continues to Scoop Chips

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The board showed {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} and there were around 35,000 chips in the pot. Nathan Jessen tapped the table to Alexander Suprun who bet 20,000.

Jessen then check-raised to 80,000, slightly enough to cover Suprun who went into the tank. In the end, Suprun called for his tournament life and tabled {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a straight.

A straight was strong but Jessen revealed the bad news to Suprun when he showed {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}, giving him a boat to take down the pot and send Suprun home.
