Crush Fantasy Sports with FantasyWired!

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

For the majority of people in the U.S., the days of being able to play legal and regulated online poker are on hold. Plus, not everyone is within driving distance of a brick-and-mortar casino to dive in on the action.

But you want to know what can help fill that void? It's fantasy sports!

If fantasy sports are your thing, then you need to check out FantasyWired, part of the iBus Media family along with PokerNews. It doesn't matter if you're more interested in traditional season-long leagues or love the new excitement behind the more immediate daily fantasy sports, you're covered at FantasyWired.

Founded by five media industry veterans, FantasyWired is your one-stop shop for all things fantasy sports. FantasyWired will cover traditional fantasy sports through news, expert analysis, rankings, podcasts, and forums, as well as bridging the gap between seasonal leagues and daily fantasy leagues.

Fantasy sports are currently being played by 33 million people in North America. If you haven’t given them a try, we’ll guide you. If you’re already along for the ride, then we look forward to helping you dominate your league.

The only question left is — who wants to get wired?

Harris Forces Devonshire and Yazdi Out

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante
Mike Harris
Mike Harris

Reza Yazdi opened under the gun for a raise and got calls from both blinds. Mike Harris checked the {6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop, but Bryan Devonshire came out betting with 6,800. Yazdi called, only to see Harris ship it in for about 50,000. Devonshire mucked, as did Yazdi.

"I think you just got two overpairs to fold," Devonshire commented.

If they were indeed overpairs, they were good folds, as Harris showed {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a set.

Hodge Hits His Out

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante
Mark Hodge
Mark Hodge

Will Givens raised it up to 2,000 under the gun and got a call from Mark Hodge. The next player made it 6,000 to go, and all three saw the {5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Action checked to the preflop leader, who bet 12,000. Givens mucked, but Hodge grabbed his whole stack and pushed it forward, just over 20,000. The other player called.

Hodge: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Hodge needed a club or a three, but the {5-Spades} didn't help on the turn. The {3-Spades} did though, giving him a wheel.

Martie Doubles Through Carter

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

We found Bruce Carter all in for more than 100,000, having come over the top of a Svetlana Martie small blind shove for 17,850. A third player was contemplating calling off before ultimately mucking, and Carter turned up {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Martie had him crushed with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} though.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, giving Martie tens and fives for the win.

"Thanks, Bruce," she sang.
