Day 1a Started
The Mid-States Poker Tour is back with its yearly trip to Grand Falls Casino just outside of Sioux Falls, S.D. Last year, MSPT Team Pro Blake Bohn walked away with $54,607 and his very first MSPT title. He added another one at the last MSPT stop, which was in Tama, Iowa, but he won't be back here to defend his title as he's reportedly attending a different tournament.
Last year, the tournament drew 201 runners, and Day 1a of this year's event is set to kick off at 4 p.m. local time. Action begins with blinds at 50/100 and stacks of 20,000 under the Allen Kessler-approved structure. Each level will last 40 minutes, and players are allowed one reentry apiece until the start of Level 10. After 14 levels, players will bag up to return on Sunday for Day 2.
Cards should soon by flying, so stay tuned for all of the live updates right here on PokerNews.
