Schneider Holds

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Mike Schneider eliminated an opponent when his {a-}{k-} held up unimproved against {q-Spades}{8-Spades}. Schneider was in the big blind and looked to have called the shove of the small blind in an unopened pot.

Lang Busts Friedman

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Adam Friedman shoved all in for about 13,000 on an {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop and was called by Mike Lang.

Lang: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Friedman: {a-}{9-}

Lang had a flush draw, and both players turned a pair of aces on the {a-Spades} turn. Friedman hit top two pair on the {9-Diamonds} river, but it was an unwelcome card as it gave Lang a winning flush.

Marsh Doubles Up

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Ben Marsh
Ben Marsh

Ben Marsh check-called 4,000 from middle position against a button opponent on the an {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts} board. On the {k-Diamonds} river, Marsh checked again and saw his opponent bet 6,800. Marsh counted out his stack and then announced he was all in. The player on the button snapped, but Marsh turned over {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a winning boat.

The other player shook his head and showed {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for trips. He sent 26,800 to Marsh.

Lang Bluffs Off a Chunk

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

In one of the last hands of Level 11, Mike Lang opened for 3,000 under the gun and got calls from both blinds. The big blind bet out 5,000 on the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, and only Lang called. The {10-Hearts} turn prompted Lang to call another 7,000. On the {3-Hearts} river, the big blind checked and called right away when Lang fired 9,000.

Both players had missed flush draws, but Lang's worthless {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} couldn't beat {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Kirby Done

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Matt Kirby
Matt Kirby

Matt Kirby shoved for what looked like about 20,000 in the small blind when action folded to him, and the big blind made the call.

Kirby: {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Big blind: {k-Spades}{6-Spades}

Kirby was live at least, but he airballed the {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} run out.
