Cervantes Calls With Third Pair

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

The cutoff saw action folded to him and put in a raise to 1,400. Jose Cervantes was on the button and called, taking action heads up to a flop of {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. The cutoff checked.

Cervantes put out a bet of 2,700 and the cutoff instantly put out a chip to call. He then put out the remaining chips, one or two at a time until the math added up correctly and the dealer brought the turn {k-Clubs}. Both players checked.

The river fell {9-Clubs} and the cutoff threw out a bet of 3,100. Cervantes thought for a few moments and then called.

The cutoff tabled {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a pair of sevens, and Cervantes showed {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for a rivered pair of nines which were good to earn him the pot.

Johnson Makes the Nuts, Goes Over Six Figures

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Aaron Johnson opened to 1,300 and was three-bet by the cutoff to 3,200. Action made its way back to Johnson and he called to take action heads up to the flop {2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The turn came {9-Hearts} and Johnson bet 2,700. The cutoff thought for a few moments and then called.

The river was {j-Clubs}. Johnson fired out another 9,500 and the cutoff went into the tank for over a minute. He then shoved all in and Johnson immediately called and tabled his hand.

Aaron Johnson: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Johnson was able to fill up to the nut straight after turning both a gutshot straight draw and flush draw, prompting his opponent to muck his hand. The dealer sent them into the muck and later revealed the {a-Diamonds} with the player in the nine-seat alleging that the recently-eliminated player had ace-queen suited.

Meanwhile, Saad Ghanem, Griff Woodman, and Dedric Henderson were all seen at Johnson's table, with Ghanem having been moved and Woodman and Henderson firing each firing bullet number two. Jason Hartwig was also seen on an adjacent table back in on the action after his former seat was recently seen vacated.

Levin Puts Gervais To the Test

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Matthew Levin
Matthew Levin

There was around 17,000 in the pot on a board reading {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Joshua Gervais had a bet of 13,000 out in front of him from the big blind. Action was on Matthew Levin, who was on the button and in the tank.

After close to a minute of thought, Levin slid forward a tall stack of T1,000 and T5,000 chips and announced he was all in. Gervais then thought for over a minute himself about the decision that Levin had just put him to for his remaining chips. Ultimately, he decided it wasn't worth it and sent his cards to the muck.

Henderson Delivers a Cooler

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Dedric Henderson
Dedric Henderson

An early-position player opened to 2,200 and action folded around to Dedric Henderson, who three-bet to 9,000 out of the big blind. The player shoved all in and Hudson quickly called.

Early Position: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Dedric Henderson: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, giving Henderson a small sweat on the turn when his opponent picked up a draw to Broadway. The clean river completed the runout and the dealer broke down stacks.

The early-position player's stack was counted to be 18,400 and Hudson's was totaled to be 20,400, leaving the early-position player dry on chips as the pot was sent Henderson's way, effectively giving him a full double to reach an even two stacks of chips.

Bryan Skreens
Bryan Skreens

A player in early position had raised and been called by both the small blind and Bryan Skreens in the big blind and the dealer fanned a flop of {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Action checked to the opener and she made a continuation-bet of 2,500. The small blind called.

"All in," announced Skreens, check-raising for his remaining chips. The early-position player folded to put action onto the small blind who went into the tank for over a minute. He eventually folded and Skreens took down the pot.
