Le Left With Crumbs as Prasanna Doubles

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Nghia Le
Nghia Le

There was over 4,000 in the middle with three-way action between Nathan Heller in the small blind, Nghia Le in the big blind, and Swami Prasanna in early position. Action was in the process of checking through a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{q-Spades} to bring a turn of {7-Hearts} onto the board.

Heller checked again and Le bet 2,700. Prasanna threw out two T5,000 chips to raise it up, prompting a fold from Heller before Le quickly three-bet all in for Prasanna's last few remaining chips. Prasanna called and hands were tabled.

Swami Prasanna: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Nghia Le: {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Le's flopped two pair was out in front of Prasanna's top pair, top kicker and he was poised for the double. However, the river {7-Diamonds} counterfeited Le's queens and sixes and left Prasanna's ace kicker to play with both players' queens and sevens to score him the double, leaving Le with just 6,500 remaining in the process.

Woogan Stays Alive Via the Backdoor

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

The dealer was in the process of running the cards in a hand where Jesse Rockowitz was in middle position and had Jacob Woogan all in from the hijack for his last handful of big blinds.

Jacob Woogan: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Jesse Rockowitz: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} to give Woogan a backdoor flush and keep him alive.

Tran Gets a Double

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Andy Tran was down to his last 5,000 or so and got all in on the button against the cutoff preflop.

Andy Tran: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Cutoff: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Tran was way behind and his situation got worse as the flop came {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. However, the turn {k-Diamonds} put him back out in front and he stayed there as the river {3-Hearts} completed the runout.

Maas Wins On Turn

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Jeff Maas
Jeff Maas

Todd Fisher opened the action with a raise to 1,200 and action folded around to Jeff Maas in the hijack, who called. The player on the button also called, as did Swami Prasanna in the big blind, and action went four ways to a flop of {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Prasanna checked and Fisher made a continuation-bet of 2,300. Maas called and then both the player on the button and Prasanna folded.

Action then went heads up to the turn {10-Clubs} and Fisher checked. Maas announced a bet of 4,000 and Fisher thought for about 20 seconds before letting his hand go, resulting in the pot being shipped Maas' way.

Ebanks Back Over Starting Stack

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Joe Ebanks
Joe Ebanks

A player raised it up to 1,800 in early position and received a call from the hijack. Joe Ebanks was on the button and thought for about 35 seconds before announcing he was all in.

The original raiser asked for a count and Ebanks' stack was totaled to be 21,300. He thought for around a half-minute before letting his hand go. The hijack quickly followed suit and Ebanks took down the pot with his preflop shove, bringing him back over a starting stack after being seen as low as 8,000 earlier in the tournament.
