William Chao raised to 135,000 from the cutoff only to have Tom Sundling three-bet all in for around 1.2 million from the button. Both blinds folded and Chao, who barely had Sundling covered, thought long and hard before making the call.
Sundling's pocket pair was best and he flopped top set on the flop. The turn left Chao drawing dead and he was left with just 90,000 after the was run out on the river.
Chao went bust in the very next hand to bring about the final table.
