Onikul Ousted by Correa

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Carlos Correa
Carlos Correa

Ark Onikul opened to 24,000 in the cutoff and Carlos Correa re-shoved on him from the small blind. Onikul called all in for slightly less without any delay.

"It's time to gamble!" said Onikul, showing {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Correa displayed {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Onikul remained ahead for the flop {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} but the turn {8-Spades} left him in dire shape. He missed his two outer on the river {5-Hearts} and wound up eliminated from the tournament as a result.

Duvall Flops Broadway To Double

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After a raise and several calls, Alex Duvall three-bet to 115,000 in the big blind leaving 11,000 behind. Marquez Davis re-jammed from the hijack and when Robert Maier folded on the button, Davis tabled his hand {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} thinking that Duvall was all in.

A minute went by with Davis' hand exposed before Duvall called off his last few chips and showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} thereafter.

Duvall went from being slightly ahead to holding the nuts as the flop dropped {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. A running {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} left him out in front and the double was sent his way.

Hochman Toasted

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Jamie Bassett
Jamie Bassett

Corey Hochman got all of his chips in the middle preflop from the cutoff and received action from Jamie Bassett, who was on the button.

Corey Hochman: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Jamie Bassett: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Hochman was unable to find another ace as the board ran out {9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and he was eliminated from the tournament. Meanwhile, Bassett is experiencing a heater that now has him up over 1.7 million, making him the likely chip leader with six tables remaining in play.
