Shin Sends Messing To the Payout Desk
Keith Messing was just eliminated from the tournament by Mike Shin after Shin shoved all in from middle position and Bassett called off his last 580,000.

Shin finished where he started, taking down the pot with his aces and eliminating Messing in 20th.
Moments later, Desmond Haynes was eliminated by Landon Tice after his ace-queen was unable to hold against Tice's ace-ten. A ten came on the flop and that was all she wrote for Haynes. With his elimination, 18 players now remain and two more eliminations are needed before the final two tables are reached.

Santos Doubles Through Afanasenka; Afanasenka Busts
Raman Afanasenka opened the action with a raise to 100,000 in the cutoff and was called by Josias Santos, who defended his big blind. The flop dropped and Santos check-called a continuation-bet of 135,000 from Afanasenka.
Santos checked again on the turn and Afanasenka slid forward his entire stack of chips, enough to put Santos all in. Santos immediately dropped a chip in to call.

Sean Yu opened in the cutoff and received a call from Orlando Romero, defending his big blind. The flop fell and Romero checked. Yu made a continuation-bet of 135,000 and Romero called.
Action checked through the turn and Romero fired out a bet of 175,000 on the river . Yu asked how much and received confirmation, and then took about 10 seconds to drop in two T100,000 chips to call.
Romero flipped over for nothing more than king high, and Yu tabled to take down the pot with a pair of eights.

Hichman Successfully Sets the Trap; Two Tables Remain
Abraham Hichman limped in under the gun and action folded around to Josias Santos, who limped behind on the button. Action was then on Sean Yu, who announced he was all in from the small blind. Hichman reraised all in and Santos folded, spelling the bad news for Yu.

Jesse Vilchez had his winning hand of displayed on a board of and was in the process of having his stack counted for a double. According to Jason Seitz and Sara Stohler, Vilchez got all of his chips into the middle on the button preflop versus Landon Tice, who was in the small blind.
"Pocket jacks versus ace-king," confirmed Seitz, mentioning Tice's hand. Vilchez now finds himself over 3.3 million while Tice has dipped to 4.5 million.

Jamie Bassett open-jammed for 335,000 in the hijack and action folded to Brandon Lombardo, who asked for a count in the small blind. Upon getting the number, he re-jammed to fold out Orlando Romero in the big blind.
