Nguyen Wins a Flip To Stay Alive

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Kenny Nguyen
Kenny Nguyen

Kenny Nguyen jammed all in from middle position and the player on the button reraised all in, showing {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} after the players in the blinds folded.

"I got that beat!" said Nguyen, turning over {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. "Keep the flop low!" he added.

The dealer mostly complied, bringing a flop of {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}. The turn {10-Hearts} added four more outs to his opponent's total.

"Low!" he added again, and the dealer complied once more as the river came {2-Spades}. "Lucky me. Thirty-three K I believe."

Nguyen was right and his opponent paid it off to result in Nguyen earning the double to stay alive.

Yu Saved by a Queen

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Sean Yu
Sean Yu

All of the chips got into the middle preflop between Sean Yu in the small blind and Brian Heeb, who was under the gun. Yu was at risk.

Sean Yu: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Brian Heeb: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Yu needed to improve to stay alive and the flop {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} was all he would need as the turn {6-Spades} and river {8-Clubs} completed the runout to score the double.

Despite the lost pot, Heeb has amassed a huge stack and still has over 500,000, making him the likely chip leader nearing the final level of play for the night.

Klier Folds Out Jackson

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ben Klier opened the action with a raise to 8,000 in the hijack and was three-bet to 32,000 by David Jackson, who was in the small blind. Klier came over the top, announcing he was all in for Jackson's effective remaining stack.

Jackson went into the tank for close to three minutes, taking some time to visibly display that he was unsure of his decision during that time. Eventually, he chose to fold and Klier took down the pot.

Eyzaguirre Sends One Home Before Bagging

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action was three handed on a flop of {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds} with a bet of 12,000 on the table that Ricardo Eyzaguirre raised to 33,000. The third player in the hand came over the top, re-jamming for 61,500. A fold brought action back to Eyzaguirre, who wasted no time calling.

Ricardo Eyzaguirre: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The turn {3-Clubs} cemented the pot for Eyzaguirre and the all-in player stood up and gathered his belongings to head home as the river {6-Clubs} came to complete the runout.
