Scott Vesilek opened to 165,000 in middle position and received calls from both David Poces in the hijack and Martin Zamani, who was on the button. The three saw a flop of and Vesilek made a continuation-bet of 365,000. Poces shoved all in over the top, forcing out Zamani, and then Vesilek called all in for less.
Vesilek imediately saw the bad news that his top pair, top kicker had run into a set. He was left with only running Broadway or full house outs to stay alive, and still had a chance after the turn . However, the river left him dry and he was eliminated in 11th place as a result.
